Hi Replo's. I need a little help. Let me do my best to explain what I am trying to do, and then how I got there. What I want is a bundle from shopify to have color swatches, and when you choose a swatch the image next to the swatches changes to show you that color. I've seen this done in a video put out by replo here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIdE4ygLjmk&t=160s&pp=ygUOcmVwbG8gc3dhdGNoZXM%3D But when I try to follow this year old video, things have changed, and the result is the image doesn't show at all and it doesn't change when selecting a swatch. Let me explain how I arrived here. I have a bunch of lipstick shades, they are individual products. I then have a variable product called SELECT YOUR LIPSTICK and each variation is tied to the individual product. I then have a shopify bundle through the standard bundle app that includes SELECT YOUR LIPSTICK variable product, another variable product and two static products. The selections of shades choices has been narrowed to 10 at the the bundle level. In replo, I drag the product into the page, select the BUNDLE as the product. I then drag the CIRCULAR OPTION LIST on the page. I nest that inside of a CONTAINER. I adda regular IMAGE to the container too. I then build the swatches using a hex code and an image in the IMAGE SWATCH position (and I'm also tried IMAGE LIST position. I tell the OPTIONS LIST background to match my swatches, they do. Then on the image..I tell it also to match swatches, and nothing happens. I select the image, then the ADD DYNAMIC CONTENT link, then product metafields, then Swatch(custom) - and just nothing happens from here. I cannot understand what I'm doing wrong. I have tried to sort this all day, and finally I'm asking for help.
hi! can you send me your dashboard link? 🙂
all you need to do is set it to swatch under product metafields! some of your swatch images aren't set correctly yet. but once you finalize that, everything should work
Where do I access product metafields? In replo, or in shopify?
For example, my products do have a meta field for swatch in shopify, and each has an image in that field. - however, this bundle uses a variable product for the shades, not the individual items.
so these items are shopify variants, not shopify products. Even though the variants are produced from the products
