Issue with Shrine Theme: Cart Not Displaying, Direct Checkout Concern

Hey guys my client has a Shrine theme and I built a page on top of the theme using Replo. The cart doesn't show instead taking the customer directly to checkout. I just read on an support article that Shrine doesn't support the slide out cart and my dev believes there is no way around this issue. Is there definitely no around way round this?

Keenan Bettany can you give us some more context here? Community guidelines on being specific and providing context here. Generally speaking, this should work. Would also be curious what support article you read that says "Shrine doesn't support the slide out cart", We have some docs on this here and I don't think you're talking about that article?

Here is article of supported themes and Shrine is not there. My dev said this will not work. Because CTA has to have trigger feature to activate slide out cart

We had a note in this article calling out Shrine theme. Just changed this so it's now a part of the headers ("Dawn & Shrine Theme")

So here is what is going on. Because your store is on the Free Plan and you can't publish pages yet, you can only use the Preview Page which doesn't exist on the standard Shopify Storefronts Routes as would the actual live page. Because of that the Preview page is missing certain components you need to call/update/show the cart. It's kinda all laid out in this support article: Troubleshooting Slide-Out Cart "Run JS" solutions on Replo Preview links I just did the Testing it out part and was able to get our standard Dawn Slide-Out cart code to work (from the previously mentioned Slide out Cart Article) on the homepage just fine. Hopefully that helps! I've also updated the Slide-Out Cart Docs to reference/link to the troubleshooting doc more explicitly
